Steve grew up in Tucson, AZ, and Otterville, IL. He married his wife, Becky, on February 14, 1992. He retired as a Chaplain, Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and has done multiple combat tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq and humanitarian missions in Louisiana and Puerto Rico. Becky grew up in Alton, IL, and last served as the Children’s Director for Calvary Baptist; she loves working with children, especially those with disabilities, where she uses her education as a COTA. Steve has pastored both churches and chapels for the past 22 years and holds an M.Div and M.A.R. from Liberty University. He also serves as a Chaplain for Barnes Jewish Hospital and Alton Memorial Hospital. Becky and Steve have 4 grown children, Troy (32), a Physician Assistant and Cpt. USAR and his wife Brooke, Alyssa (31), H.S. Math Teacher and her husband Steven, Timothy James (TJ, 28), World Wide Tech., and Renae Pace, High School Science Teacher. They also have three grandchildren (Emmett, Ellie, and Shiloh).
